About Andros
Andros is the second-largest and greenest Cycladic island, with springs, seasonal waterfalls and plane-tree valleys that feel more Ionian than Aegean. Andros Town, built on a narrow spit with a ruined Venetian fort at its tip, is lined with 19th-century neoclassical mansions from wealthy shipowners.
The island has one of the best-preserved networks of old stone paths in the Cyclades, linking villages like Menites and Apikia, known for their spring water.
