About Sikinos
Sikinos is a tiny, sparsely populated island between Ios and Folegandros that draws a fraction of its neighbors' visitors. Its Chora is actually two linked settlements, Kastro and Chorio, built for defense against pirates, plus a monastery, Moni Episkopi, originally a Roman mausoleum.
Terraced hillsides still grow small vineyards for local wine, and the island has only a handful of tavernas and rooms.
