About Evia

Evia (ancient Euboea) is Greece's second-largest island after Crete, running over 150km along the mainland and linked at Chalkida by a bridge over the Euripus Strait, known for its unusual reversing tidal currents. Thanks to that bridge, most visitors simply drive across rather than take a ferry.
