Fitting Agathonisi into your route
About Agathonisi
Agathonisi is the northernmost inhabited island of the Dodecanese, a rugged, sparsely populated spot near the Turkish coast with just a few hundred residents across three small settlements. Ferries are scarce, nightlife is nonexistent, and mobile signal and shops are limited — exactly what draws the few travelers who make the trip.

Tips
- Bring cash; ATM access is very limited and not guaranteed on the island.
- Check ferry schedules carefully in advance, as Agathonisi has some of the least frequent links in the Dodecanese.
- Pack self-sufficiently: shops carry only basics.
