About Leros

Leros has a layered, unusual history: 1920s-30s Italian art-deco architecture, WWII memorials, and the domed church of Panagia tou Kastrou above Platanos. Deep, sheltered bays like Lakki and Vromolithos give the island a different geography from most Dodecanese islands.

The island moves slowly and mainly attracts repeat visitors drawn to authentic, unpolished Greece.
