About Poros
Poros is actually two islets joined by a causeway, separated from the Peloponnesian mainland by a channel only about 200 meters wide, making the town of Galatas across the water feel more like a neighborhood than another shore. The compact main town climbs a hill above the harbor, topped by a distinctive clock tower.
